Premium Membership is completely free and provides
to you links and Caribbean employer resources for each island,
including:
- employment
agencies
- telephone directories
- newspapers
- government
sites and visa information
I've tried to include different
links for
different job types, depending on what kind of job you are looking for,
and of course what is available.
For example:

Cayman Islands: our link to
their Yellow Pages directory gives you a complete
listing, by category, of every potential employer on the island. You
have access to phone and email information immediatley.
You can easily
cut and paste the email address and send each of them an introductory
cover letter and CV. (Example
CV )
Caribbean
Job sites
There
are Caribbean Job sites out there that claim to have hundreds of ready
jobs in the Caribbean, however as I've stated before I think they are
relevant but just another cog in the job search wheel. Many I have
reviewed show jobs that
are completely out of date or the site iteslf is not being maintained.
There are a few, however, that
do seem to be doing it right and I am in the process of evaluating the
most
current Caribbean
Job sites and should have a list for you shortly.
Other
Caribbean resources
Books
and publications are readily available that provide much more detailed
information on jobs, CV/Resume preparation, and the Caribbean. Here's
some that, although I have not reviewed directly, may interest you and
are available through Amazon:
It
takes dilligence!
There
will always be more people looking for Caribbean jobs than there will
be Caribbean jobs. The Caribbean is a small market in comparison to
Europe and North America and due to the warm climate and idyllic
surroundings, many people like you and I would love to work there. If
you really want to work there you must make the effort to continually
pursue the Caribbean area.
My
recommendation?
TRY
EVERYTHING! - If you've decided to work here then you must put in the
time and effort to get here. Use the links, try the job sites, (if you
find something new I don't have - let me know).
I try to help make the process
as easy as I
can, however you must "make a job out of getting a job".
